EARPA at the Transport Research Arena 2026
From 18-21 May, the EARPA Secretariat was pleased to participate in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026 in Budapest – Europe’s flagship conference on transport research and innovation.
Throughout the event, EARPA proudly represented its growing community of Europe’s leading automotive independent R&D providers, showcasing the important role of collaborative research in shaping the future of mobility.
The EARPA stand welcomed a strong turnout from day one, bringing together members, stakeholders and visitors for discussions on European automotive innovation, Horizon Europe opportunities and EARPA position papers.
A key highlight was the participation of EARPA and its members in several sessions on the mobility R&D. The discussion underlined several important messages:
- Europe must remain ambitious and optimistic in transport innovation
- Strong coordination between research, industry and policy is essential
- Collaborative European R&D partnerships are key for competitiveness and deployment
- Europe needs European solutions for European citizens
