On 30 April, the EARPA Secretariat organised a session on Advancing Automotive R&D: Accessing EU Funding through EARPA’s Platform.
EU funding for automotive research and innovation particularly under Horizon Europe is becoming increasingly complex and competitive. This webinar explored how joining a strong platform such as EARPA (European Automotive Research Partners Association) can help organisations active in automotive R&D stay informed, connected, and well positioned in the road mobility field.
As the sector transforms through electrification, digitalisation, and sustainability, access to the right funding and partnerships is more critical than ever. With a new Multiannual Financial Framework starting in 2028, participants gained insights into collaboration opportunities, upcoming priorities and how to contribute to shaping future EU R&I agenda.
The webinar brought together RTOs and universities – especially UK-based organisations – looking to re-engage with EU funding opportunities under Horizon Europe as an associated country.
