The SYNERGIES project envisions a future where Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) systems seamlessly integrate into everyday life, ensuring safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation across Europe. By establishing a dynamic, continuously evolving platform for scenario-based validation and leveraging AI-driven innovations, SYNERGIES aims to set the global standard for the development and certification of automated mobility technologies. The project aspires to lead the transformation of the European transportation ecosystem, fostering collaboration, innovation, and trust among stakeholders while making CCAM systems accessible and reliable for all.

SYNERGIES also aims to facilitate regulatory compliance, improve scenario coverage and diversity, and accelerate the adoption of CCAM systems through collaboration with over 31 partners and previous EU initiatives like SUNRISE. SYNERGIES project has received 20M€ funding from the European Commission and its running time is from June 2024 until May 2027.

The consortium is formed by representatives from OEMs (BMW, Renault, Stellantis, Toyota, TORC), Tiers (Forvia, Siemens, CLEPA), Service Providers (IDIADA, AVL, SYSX, IVEX, SWRE, FEV, VICOM, CTAG) and Research (ERTICO, DLR, MOSAIC, RISE, ICCS, IKA, TUe, TNO, CRF, PAVE, UoW, VUFO, CEESAR, UNIGE and ViF), and is coordinated by IDIADA.
