Innovative models and integrated digital tools for Battery Electric long-haul LOGistICs
BELOGIC supports the large-scale adoption of battery-electric trucks in long-haul logistics by combining innovative operational models with advanced digital solutions. Working closely with leading European logistics providers, the project develops and validates efficient transport, charging, and fleet management strategies through simulations and real-world demonstrations across Europe. By integrating interoperable digital tools into existing logistics systems, BELOGIC aims to reduce operational costs, improve reliability, and lower emissions, while demonstrating that battery-electric trucks can become a cost-effective alternative to conventional ICE vehicles.
