Aria Etemad
Volkswagen Group Innovation, Germany
Aria Etemad is Senior Project Manager at Volkswagen Group Innovation in the area of Intelligent Ride and Automated Driving. Since 2008 he has been Coordinator of several European flagship projects in the field – for instance euroFOT, the first European large-scale field operational test for studying the benefit of ADAS on traffic safety and efficiency; and L3Pilot, a large-scale European pilot for bringing SAE level 3 automated vehicles to European roads. He currently leads Hi-Drive – another flagship project for making Automated Driving more robust and reliable.
Elena Paffumi,
Joint Research Centre (JRC)
Elena Paffumi is a scientific officer with the Joint Research Centre (JRC) located in Ispra, Italy. She is in charge of the European pre-normative research for hybrid and electric vehicles and policy support. She is member of the UN ECE working groups related to hybrid and electric vehicles new testing procedure definition. Her research focus includes e-mobility modelling, big data analysis, experimental testing of vehicles and transport policy support. She is author of several scientific articles.

Lucie Beaumel joined EGVIAfor2Zero (European Green Vehicles Initiative Association for the 2Zero partnership), the non-for-profit association engaged with the European Commission in the “Towards zero emission road transport partnership (2Zero)” in 2015 and is currently Director of the association. As such, she is ensuring constant links between the association members (OEMs, suppliers, smart grids industries, smart systems industries, freight transport users, universities, RTOs…) and the different European Commission services involved in the partnership and is coordinating the activities of EGVIAfor2Zero members in order to disseminate the activities and achievements of the partnership.
Before joining EGVIAfor2Zero, she has been supporting FP7 consortium for 5 years in drafting and managing their research projects in various areas such as transport, health, ICT …

Wolfgang Inninger
Head of Project Center Traffic, Mobility and Environment, Fraunhofer IML
Wolfgang Inninger has been a researcher at Fraunhofer IML since 2003. Since 2008 he has been managing the project center Transport, Mobility and Environment in Prien am Chiemsee.. He mainly deals with research on traffic issues, with regard to the use of new technologies and the development of mobility concepts, including the use of dataspaces. He developed various ideas for the use of new positioning technologies for safety and traffic applications. Mr. Inninger is currently working in projects and concepts focusing sustainable intermodal mobility. For the Fraunhofer Transport Alliance he represents the Institutes at Fraunhofer Society for the working group “People Mobility”. He is also the Fraunhofer main contact within EIT Urban Mobility.
