ERTRAC
Strategic Research Agenda: As an important partner
of ERTRAC, EARPA actively contributed to the elaboration
of the ERTAC Strategic Research Agenda which was released end 2004.
This Strategic Research Agenda is set in
the context of the economic, societal and environmental
challenges facing Europe and aims to support:
- European economic competitiveness;
- Quality of life of European society such as mobility
access, social inclusion, safety and security;
- The environment including the reduction of greenhouse gases,
emissions, noise, and optimized use of resources and
recycling.

In addition, after the publication of the Vision & Challenges and the Strategic Research Agenda now the third document, the ERTRAC Research Framework for 2007 – 2015 is ready and available for download. ERTRAC believes that this Research Framework is useful for FP7 planning as well as for planning national activities. This document is a living document, which will be updated during the next years.
FURORE
Roadmap: The final result of the FURORE Network, which has been initiated
by EARPA, is the “Automotive R&D Technology Roadmap”
describing technology expectations, needs and priorities
for automotive research based on selected future mobility
scenarios. This roadmap is intended to aid co-operation
between industry, research institutions and universities
and to contribute to the definition of future European
research initiatives. This
Roadmap comprises a book generally presenting FURORE results.
PSN
Roadmap: The Advanced Passive Safety
Network (APSN) supported by EARPA also published a roadmap
mainly looking at integral safety in vehicles. The addition to this strategic document, called the Secondary Safety Research Action Plan (SSRAP) can also be downloaded here.
